Should Students be Banned From Bringing Peanut Products to School?

"It just needs to be near him for him to have an anaphylactic reaction," a local parent says.

Elk Grove students won't be able to buy peanut snacks at school this year, but should they be allowed to bring them from home? 

After a Carmichael girl died from a peanut snack at a Sacramento camp, the Elk Grove Unified School District decided to no longer serve peanut products at its elementary school cafeterias.
