This graphic shows the most common words in Mayor Steven Detrick's State of the City Address, delivered Friday at the Valley Hi Country Club.

Ever played the game where you drink every time President Obama says "prosperity"? (That question was aimed at the over-21 set, of course.)

As any speechwriter knows, harping on key words that resonate with an audience can create a subconscious response that's as much emotional as mental. The words politicians choose say a lot about their priorities, and those of the people they're communicating with.

With that in mind, we fed the text of Mayor Steven Detrick's State of the City Address (delivered live Friday at the Valley Hi Country Club), into the website TagCrowd, which creates word clouds showing the most common terms in a piece of writing. The bigger the word, the more often it's repeated in the text.
