Students at Merryhill Preschools in Elk Grove Donate 50 Backpacks

Students at Merryhill Preschools on Laguna Park Drive and Harbour Point Drive in Elk Grove recently held a backpack drive for Sacramento Children’s Home to help local children in need prepare for the new school year. Students donated 50 backpacks filled with school supplies to the organization’s Fill-A-Backpack Drive, which provides school supplies and financial support for Sacramento-area students and their families. Through this initiative, students learned about the importance of helping others in their community.

The Sacramento Children’s Home provides care to the Sacramento region’s most vulnerable children and families through a variety of programs that promote child safety, positive parenting, education and mental health.
