The Wake-Up Call: Heavy Metal, College Boycott

Restrayned, Beyond the Grove take the stage at . Not one, but two local bands will play a 9:00 p.m. concert tonight—old-school metal group and alt-rockers Beyond the Grove. Ladies get in free before 10:00, according to Beyond the Grove's website.

Fourth of July permits due. The folks at the city want you to know that they usually take about a month to process applications for block parties on Independence Day.
