Industrial lands workshop. Did you miss the first city-sponsored discussion about what to do with the parts of Elk Grove that are zoned for warehouses, factories and the like? Catch the next one in the series tonight at 6:00 in the . Officials are pondering whether to allow offices, restaurants and even churches in these areas, in order to generate more income for the city.

Quidditch-mania reaches fever pitch. With the opening of the final (gasp) Harry Potter movie this weekend, fans everywhere are focused on all things Potter. That includes Quidditch, the magical sport that in the wizarding world involves flying but for Muggles means galloping around rather awkwardly with a broomstick between your legs.
