Confused about Ballot Measures? Free Help in Encinitas This Week

League of Women Voters of North County San Diego is hosting two educational seminars.

You’ve likely seen the ads encouraging you to vote against or support the lengthy list of ballot measures we’ll get to decide on this November. If you’re still unclear on what each proposition, there are two free educational seminars in Encinitas this week you should know about:

This afternoon the League of Women Voters of North County San Diego will be hosting a presentation about the local ballot propositions at the Cardiff Library. That free seminar runs from 4 to 6:30 p.m., and will go over the pros and cons of each ballot measure.

If you can’t make that event, the group will host another free event on Friday at 1 p.m. at the San Elijo Campus of Mira Costa College. Again, members will explain each ballot measure and talk about what are some of the possible outcomes if they are passed or not. That event will be in room # 201 and no parking pass is required. For more information, you can call 760.944.4449, extension 7782.
