Gas Prices Are Up—Where to Find a Deal in Encinitas
The least expensive gas in Encinitas can be found at Shell at 1060 N El Camino Real for $4.11 per gallon of regular, according to gasbuddy.com.
The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego County rose seven-tenths of a cent today to $4.119, one day after increasing nine-tenths of a cent.
The average price is 1.5 cents more than one week ago, one-tenth of a cent higher than one month ago and 1.2 cents greater than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service.
The rising pump prices stem from a 20-cent per gallon increase in wholesale prices caused by unplanned outages at two Los Angeles County refineries. The outages have disrupted Southern California gasoline production, reducing supplies, said Marie Montgomery of the Automobile Club of Southern California.
