LePort Montessori Students Donate Diapers and Toys to Local Nonprofit

Students at LePort Montessori School Irvine Mandarin recently donated toys and diapers to Orange County Rescue Mission, a local nonprofit organization that provides support and resources to homeless individuals and families. Students worked together to collect $100 worth of diapers and toys for the children supported by the organization. Through this initiative, students learned the importance of giving back to community members in need.

LePort Montessori School instills a sense of social responsibility at an early age by implementing opportunities for students to learn about the importance of giving back to their communities and helping others in need. Teachers work with children to help recognize and label emotions in themselves and others, while learning how they fit into their community and the larger world.
