Omakase Sushi Room Debuts, HapiFish Promises Tailored, Intimate Experience

Omakase is the new word to know for Encinitas food lovers.
It's Japanese for "we'll leave it to you," and that's the experience HapiFish promises its customers at its expanded Sushi Room debuting Thursday.
Three sushi bars will feature chefs that tailor the experience and dishes based around the patron's tastes as well as the fresh catches, chef and owner Justin Masunaga said, adding that it's the only location in North County to do so.
Chefs will also have their own specials.The Sushi Room operate Wednesday through Saturday nights at HapiFish, 190 N. Coast Highway.
Gluten-free and vegetarian dishes are also available.
