Lily was transferred to Rancho Coastal Humane Society from a pet rescue organization that had taken her from an overcrowded animal shelter. She is still a baby, so that means that she goes from napping to boosts of energy in the wag of a tail.

Because of her young age, Lily will need lots of attention, supervision, and training as she grows up to become your perfect dog. Remember that puppies need to learn almost everything: How to walk on a leash, basic command like "sit" and "stay," letting you know when it's time to go outside for a "break." And it's up to you to help them learn.

Lily's $195 adoption fee includes her medical exam, up to date vaccinations, spay, and microchip identification.

Find out how you can adopt "Lily" or sponsor her until her new family finds her and takes her home. Call 760-753-64-13 or log on to SDpets.org or visit Rancho Coastal Humane Society at 389 Requeza Street in Encinitas. Adoption kennels and cattery are open Wednesday through Monday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
