Car Break-Ins, Thefts and Assault With a Deadly Weapon

The following crimes in Encino were reported to the Los Angeles Police Department during Sept. 28–Oct. 4, as compiled by the Los Angeles Times.

Sept. 28

A burglary was reported at 5 a.m. in the 18000 block of Ventura Boulevard.

An attempted burglary was reported at 7:15 p.m. in the 17000 block of Ventura Boulevard.

A burglary was reported at 8 p.m. in the 16500 block of Ventura Boulevard.

A burglary was reported at 8 p.m. in the 17100 block of Adlon Road.

Sept. 29

A petty shoplifting incident was reported at 5 p.m. in the 16700 block of Ventura Boulevard.

A burglary was reported at 7:45 p.m. in the 17000 block of Ventura Boulevard.

A robbery was reported at 7:45 p.m. at the intersection of Zelzah Avenue and Margate Street.

A burglary was reported at 9 p.m. in the 17000 block of Ventura Boulevard.

Sept. 30

A burglary from a vehicle was reported at 12:30 p.m. in the 5500 block of Newcastle Avenue.

A burglary and a prowler were reported at 12:45 p.m. in the 16000 block of Woodvale Road.

A burglary was reported at 8:40 p.m. in the 17400 block of Ventura Boulevard.

Oct. 1

An assault with a deadly weapon was reported at 1:20 p.m. at the intersection of Ventura Boulevard and White Oak Avenue.

An attempted burglary was reported at 3 p.m. in the 4800 block of Alonzo Avenue.

A burglary was reported at 6 p.m. in the 16500 block of Ventura Boulevard.

Oct. 2

A burglary from a vehicle was reported at 1 a.m. in the 17200 block of Burbank Boulevard.

A petty theft and petty vandalism were reported at noon in the 5300 block of Newcastle Avenue.

A petty theft was reported at 4:30 p.m. in the 17200 block of Ventura Boulevard.

A burglary from a vehicle was reported at 9:30 p.m. in the 5100 block of Yarmouth Avenue.

Oct. 3

A robbery was reported at 4:30 a.m. in the 5400 block of Newcastle Avenue.

A stolen vehicle was reported at 9:50 a.m. in the 5500 block of Lindley Avenue.

A stolen vehicle was reported at 10 p.m. in the 5500 block of McLennan Avenue.

A burglary was reported at 10:30 p.m. in the 16700 block of Ventura Boulevard.

Oct. 4

A burglary from a vehicle was reported at 3 a.m. in the 17600 block of Burbank Boulevard.

A petty theft from a vehicle was reported at 5 a.m. in the 17400 block of Ventura Boulevard.

A burglary was reported at noon in the 5000 block of Enfield Avenue.

A burglary was reported at 8:30 p.m. in the 16000 block of Ventura Boulevard.
