Encino Man Arrested in Connection with Boating Death of Teen

Nshan Sogomonyan 29, of Encino, has been arrested for vessel manslaughter in the boating death of a 16-year-old boy last summer, according to CBS2.

According to the report, the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department’s Special Problem’s Team said Sogomonyan was driving a boat on Pyramid Lake in Castaic on July 1, 2012 when his vessel collided with a jetski being ridden by the boy and Serob Nagapetyan.

The boy died as a result of the collision and Nagapetyan spent 40 days in a hospital recovering from his injuries, according to the report.
