What’s Open, Closed on Presidents Day

The library, public schools and the USPS all observe the federal holiday.

The Encino-Tarzana Public Library, public schools, and the US Postal Service will be closed Monday, Feb. 20, in observance of Presidents Day.

Originally known as Washington's Birthday, the federal holiday was established in honor of George Washington, the nation's first president. It is observed on the third Monday in February each year, around the time of Washington's Feb. 22 birthday.
