Reseda Woman Beaten To Death, Boyfriend Suspect Of Murder

Police say the Ricardo Sauz confessed to beating to death his girlfriend and mother of his child on Thanksgiving in Reseda.

RESEDA, CA — A 30-year-old woman was bludgeoned to death in Reseda and her 35-year-old boyfriend -- the father of her 8-year-old child -- was arrested for her killing, police said Friday.

Paramedics were sent to the 7500 block of Enfield Avenue around 10:50 a.m. Thursday and found the woman, who died from blunt-force trauma, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.

Her name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.

Her boyfriend, Ricardo Sauz, was interviewed at the scene and confessed to killing the woman, police said. Sauz was arrested on suspicion of murder and booked in Van Nuys, police said.

Sauz and his girlfriend had a history of domestic violence, police reported.

He was being held on $2 million bail and was scheduled to be in court Tuesday for arraignment, according to police and jail records.
