Tamar Galatzan to Co-Host ‘Dreams on Wheels’ Workshop for Undocumented Students

The event is being held at Cleveland High School in Reseda at 6 p.m.

A "Dreams on Wheels" workshop is scheduled today, Thursday, at 6 p.m. at Cleveland High School in Reseda, for undocumented students who want to apply for a program that allows them to legally remain in the United States.

The workshop, at the Cleveland High School Auditorium on 8140 Vanalden Ave., is being hosted by Los Angeles Unified School District Board of Education Vice President Tamar Galatzan and the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles.

Under the federal Deferred Action program, undocumented immigrants less than 31 years old on June 31 may apply to remain in the U.S. and receive a work permit as well as a Social Security number.
