VIDEO: Encino-Based Menchie's Celebrates 300th Franchise Location with Party on Ventura Blvd.
"We've had good luck with the city of Encino," the company's chief executive officer says.
The Menchie's Frozen Yogurt company, which has its global headquarters in Encino, on Friday celebrated the opening of its 300th store worldwide with a party in front of the Encino Place Shopping Center at 16101 Ventura Boulevard.
Corporate employees and special guests were treated to In-N-Out burgers for lunch served by a catering truck—followed by some Menchie's frozen yogurt of course.
As Patch recently reported, the Encino Menchie's retail location at 17245 Ventura Blvd. is a special one where franchisees from around the world come to train. Menchie's opened its very first location in nearby Valley Village five years ago.
