Violent Crimes Reported in Encino

Four violent crimes were reported to the LAPD in Encino over the course of four days in January.

The number of violent crimes rose significantly last week in Encino, according to the Los Angeles Times' analysis of LAPD figures.

Four violent crimes were reported to the LAPD during Jan. 11-14, according to the Times:

Jan. 11: A robbery was reported at 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Zelzah Avenue and Burbank Boulevard.

Jan. 11: A robbery was reported at 6:10 p.m. at the intersection of Louise Avenue and Ventura Boulevard.

Jan. 12: An attempted robbery was reported at 11:30 a.m. at the intersection of Balboa and Ventura boulevards.

Jan. 14: An assault with a deadly weapon was reported at 11:45 a.m. at the intersection of Ventura Boulevard and Haskell Avenue.

There were also in Encino during Dec. 11-14.
