Sodexo at CSUSM Celebrates National Employee Appreciation Day

Employees recognized for hard work and dedication during a special National Employee Appreciation Day celebration

California State San Marcos (CSUSM) Dining Services employees were recognized for their hard work and dedication during a special National Employee Appreciation Day celebration at Campus Way Café.

Employees enjoyed slices of Nothing Bundt Cake and received commemorative Starbucks reusable cups as tokens of appreciation. A raffle added to the excitement, with prizes including a George Foreman grill, a Revlon hair dryer, speakers, and more.

“I’ve worked for a lot of companies, and none have ever done this sort of thing for their employees,” said Executive Chef Trevor Chappell, who recently joined the CSUSM Dining team.
