The Sacramento County Coroner’s office has confirmed the identity of the suspect and victims involved in the Feb. 28, 2022 shooting inside a church in the Arden area of Sacramento County.

The suspect has been identified as: David Mora Rojas Male, 39 years of age (Sacramento Coroner Case #22-01628)

The victims have been identified as: Samantha Mora Gutierrez Female, 10 years of age (Sacramento Coroner Case #22-01625) Samarah Mora Gutierrez Female, nine years of age (Sacramento Coroner Case #22-01623) Samia Mora Gutierrez Female, 13 years of age (Sacramento Coroner Case #22-01626) Nathaniel Kong Male, 59 years of age (Sacramento Coroner Case #22-01627)

No further information is available at this time. It is the duty of the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office to identify and determine the cause and manner of sudden and unexpected deaths and to investigate deaths that occur under violent or suspicious circumstances.
