Foster City Mother's Day Weather: She's Going To Love It!

FOSTER CITY, CA — This Mother's Day Weekend is shaping up to be a great one on the Peninsula. Forecasters say there will be some strong winds in the nearby communities of the North Bay Mountains, East Bay Hills and Santa Cruz Mountains — but so far the Peninsula is spared from any high wind watches that have been issued.

The National Weather Service says the Bay Area will see "continued seasonably mild conditions Saturday but then cooling into Sunday as a southerly surge impacts the region."

Sunny skies and a high of 65 are expected on Mom's Day in Foster City, which means it will be a great day to be outside — even if it means you might need a light sweater.

Mostly cloudy, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 65. West wind 15 to 18 mph, with gusts as high as 24 mph.

Mostly clear, with a low around 52. Breezy, with a west wind 17 to 22 mph decreasing to 9 to 14 mph after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 29 mph.

Friday
Sunny, with a high near 70. West northwest wind 6 to 11 mph increasing to 13 to 18 mph in the morning. Winds could gust as high as 24 mph.

Clear, with a low around 55. Northwest wind around 16 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.

Sunny, with a high near 70. West southwest wind around 10 mph.
