SMCL: Access EComics With No Holds Or Wait Times

In partnership with the Peninsula Library System, opens a new window, San Mateo County Libraries’ OverDrive collection now includes All Access Comics, opens a new window. All Access Comics provides access to 3,693 simultaneous-use graphic novels from DarkHorse, Image, IDW, Disney and Marvel. There are no holds or wait times for these titles.

This collection has something for all ages and boasts major franchises like Frozen, Lion King, Captain Marvel, Star Wars and Spiderman. 

You will find some gems in this collection, like Bitter Root, opens a new window, which won the Will Eisner award for best continuing series in 2020 and has a soon-to-be movie adaptation expected. Join a Black family in 1920s Harlem as they fight against the monsters of racism. Bitter Root is a great read in honor of Black History Month! We are currently working on getting these titles in our catalog, but users can access the complete collection through their web browser, opens a new window or the Libby app, opens a new window.
