This month our popular Take and Make kits explore architecture! Use your imagination to think like an architect, design a building and construct a model of your design using the materials in the kit.

Pick up your February Take and Make kit at any of our San Mateo County Libraries locations from February 14-19, 2022.

Kits are available first come, first served.

Start Using Your Imagination!

1. Before you start building, talk about, write or draw your ideas on a piece of paper. Here are some questions to inspire you:

2. Optional: Create a blueprint drawing of your building design.

3. Then, make a model of your building using the materials in your kit. Feel free to incorporate other materials such as items found around the home, in nature and even in your trash or recycling bin!
