3 Arrests As Fremont Police Recover Firearm, Drugs in Stolen Vehicle
The suspects face multiple charges, including firearm possession and identity theft.

FREMONT, CA— Fremont Police arrested three suspects on Aug. 31, after recovering a gun, drugs, and stolen property from a stolen vehicle.
Officers were alerted to the vehicle at approximately 5 a.m. through license plate reader cameras in the area of Fremont and Washington boulevards.
When officers attempted a traffic stop, the suspects fled, leading to a high-speed chase. Police utilized a pursuit intervention technique to prevent further fleeing and stopped the vehicle near Thornton Avenue and Blacow Road, where all three suspects surrendered.
A search of the vehicle revealed a .40 caliber handgun with a threaded barrel, 32 grams of cocaine, additional ammunition, stolen mail, credit cards, and passports.
The suspects—Amanda Stacy, 36; James Spearman, 38; and Christian Widjaja, 35 —face numerous charges, including possession of a stolen vehicle, identity theft, and firearm and drug-related offenses.
Spearman, who has an extensive criminal history, was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of a controlled substance for sale.
Stacy and Widjaja also face charges related to identity theft and possession of stolen property.
The Fremont Police Department thanked Newark Police for assisting in the arrest.
