FREMONT, CA — Fremont firefighters are not just heroes to people, but to mama ducks who lose their ducklings in storm sewers.
The ducklings are so tiny that they fall right through the openings in the grates.
On Sunday, Captain Earls, Engineer Chamran and Firefighter Azevedo of Truck 57 pulled nine tiny ducklings from a storm drain on Delta Terrace.
