Board President Nate Miley announced on Friday that the board "will address the appointment process for a new District Attorney" at 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Fremont residents have until then to make their preferences known about whether they want a DA who is tough on crime, or will adhere to progressive policies such as those followed by Price.

The supervisor representing most of Fremont in District 1 is David Haubert. Contact Supervisor Haubert by emailing his Chief of Staff, Shawn Wilson; or phone the Pleasanton district office at 925-551-6995 or the main Board of Supervisors office in Oakland at 510-272-6691 to voice your preferences.

If you are in District 2, Elisa Marquez is your supervisor. Phone the Hayward District Office at 510-670-6150 or the Oakland office at 510-272-6692. You may also email Chief of Staff Alex Boskovich.
