Bombay Pizza House to Celebrate Grand Re-Opening Sunday

The restaurant, located at 4922 Paseo Padre Pkwy. in the Ardenwood Plaza, serves up unique Indian-inspired pizzas.

Grabbing pizza this weekend? If so, you’ll have the option to spice it up when Bombay Pizza House opens at its new Fremont location this Sunday.

The restaurant is located at 4922 Paseo Padre Pkwy. in the Ardenwood Plaza, just outside of Union City and Newark’s borders.

Though the business is new to Fremont, it’s not new to the Tri-City area. Bombay Pizza House was previously located in Union City. It quickly became a local favorite until a devastating fire destroyed the restaurant — and nearly 10 other businesses — in October.

The owners have been hard at work in the meantime. Now the restaurant is bigger and better, owner Gursewak Gill told Patch.

The new location boasts a 3,000-square-foot space — double its previous incarnation — with enough room for more than 100 hungry pizza lovers. It features flat-screen TVs and a modern décor.

The menu has also improved.

The Indian-style restaurant’s staples remain: Curry Veggie Delight, Curry Chicken Masala, Chili Paneer (Indian cheese) and Chicken Tikka Masala, along with classic Italian and American offerings.

New this time around are their Achari Ghobi (cauliflower made with pickling spices), Achari Chicken (chicken made with pickling spices) and Desi BBQ Chicken pizzas, along with tandoori chicken wings. Bombay Pizza House will also serve wine with assorted beers on tap.

The restaurant is also hiring.

Bombay Pizza House will be open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.
