Update: Two Local Runners OK After Boston Bombings; No News About Others

Six Fremont residents were registered for today's race. Two explosions were reported at the finish line in Boston.

The Boston Marathon, a destination race that historically draws runners from all corners of the world, was locked down Monday after two explosions at the finish line.

Two people were killed and more than 125 injured in the bombing.

Calamba, Arnel (USA) Callejas, Brian (USA) Marrin, Thomas (USA) Rhoads, Jeffrey (USA) Sloves, Jacqueline (USA) Yi, Rebecca (USA)

According to Facebook posts made by friends, Arnel Calamba and Brian Callejas are reported to be okay.

"We r ok! Thanks so much for ur thoughts! It's heartbreaking and chaotic out here," Michelle Callejas, wife of Brian Callejas, wrote on a friend's Facebook wall.

A friend of Jacqueline Sloves said that Sloves was registered for the race but did not attend.
