Composting With Worms: Master Gardener Talk In Fremont Saturday
Would you like to turn your yard and kitchen waste into rich soil but you're not sure how to get started?

FREMONT, CA — Chances are that your summer garden is in the compost bin or heading that way soon. Cleaning up the garden as you prepare it for winter crops is the perfect time to think about worms.
The UC Master Gardener Program of Alameda County is holding a demonstration talk on Saturday called Composting with Worms! It will be held at the Quarry Lakes Demonstration Garden in Fremont.
"What is Vermicomposting and how does it work?" the Master Gardener website asks. "Join us for this fun and interesting talk on how to turn food waste into worm castings (garden gold!) that promote plant growth."
