Darkness Pushes Twilight To The Horizon: Photo Of The Day
The last remnants of day disappear from the sky.

FREMONT, CA — Subrato Mukherjee Took this photo of twilight in Fremont, as the sky was giving way to darkness. Subrato wrote, "This always brings to my mind following Thomas Gray stanza:
The curfew tolls the knell of parting day,
The lowing herd wind slowly o'er the lea,
The ploughman homeward plods his weary way,
And leaves the world to darkness and to me."
