Fremont Lucky Supermarket Store Permanently Closes
Locations in Fremont, Dublin and Millbrae all closed their doors for good on Nov. 3. Three Lucky stores in Fremont remain open.

FREMONT, CA — Friday marked the end of an era for one Fremont neighborhood, when the Lucky Supermarket store on Mission Boulevard closed permanently due to what company officials said was "underperformance."
In addition to the Mission Boulevard site, the chain operates Fremont stores at 5000 Mowry Ave., 34101 Fremont Blvd. and 35820 Fremont Blvd. Impacted workers were given "the opportunity to transfer to our neighboring stores."
"Lucky remains committed to the city of Fremont and continues to serve the community with our other three stores," a company spokesperson said.
