Fremont Moonset Conjures Images Of Claude Monet: Photos Of The Day
The photos were taken from the Mission Hills in Fremont.
FREMONT, CA — Paul Sethy shared three photos, taken from Fremont. The first two show the moon setting, while the third shows the early morning sun reflected off Salesforce Tower. Sethy told Patch one of the moonset photos "reminds me of one of my favorite historical paintings, Impression: Sunrise, by Claude Monet; however, my photo is of the morning moonset. The picture I took has the same desultory atmosphere as that painting."
Sethy continued, "I spent much of my Silicon Valley career working in Europe, and this morning, I felt a definite accent of Paris or Le Havre, where Monet painted. I hope others can appreciate a similar memory in time. To all my friends in Fremont — here's a hometown cheer!"
The photos were taken on three different days — on Friday, Sunday and Monday.
