Teens between the ages of 14 and 18 who are interested in learning more about law enforcement are encouraged to apply

The Fremont Police Department is currently accepting applications from teenagers interested in participating in the department's Explorer Program.
The program gives teens a chance to gain community service hours while participating in fun and educational Police Department activities such as ride-alongs, traffic control, building tours and special events.
New Explorers are required to attend the Explorer Academy in Southern California for a week during their first year in the program.
