We are deeply saddened to announce the unexpected passing of Captain Frederick “Freddie” H. Bobbitt Jr. We learned of his passing earlier today and as expected, our department is in disbelief and shock.

Freddie has served with FPD for more than 32 years and is well known and respected by our community. We send our sincerest condolences to the Bobbitt family and ask that our community keep them in their thoughts and prayers.

We will share more information on how to support the Bobbitt family and FPD as it becomes available in the upcoming days.
