Fremont Police Officers Attend Women Leaders in Law Enforcement Event
Members of the Fremont Police Department spent a few days at a training symposium centered on women's leadership.

FREMONT, CA — Several members of the Fremont Police Department attended the Women Leaders in Law Enforcement training symposium last week, the department shared via social media Friday.
The event took place Tuesday through Friday at the Town and Country Resort in San Diego.
Held annually, the symposium’s aim is “to provide dynamic, contemporary training presented by subject matter experts in their fields and to help develop both professional and sworn members of the law enforcement community,” according to the California Police Chiefs Association.

This year’s theme was “Lead with Purpose.” Topics included “The Soul of Leadership: Inspiring Hearts, Managing Minds,” “Rise & Lead: 10 Strategies for Women Advancing in Law Enforcement,” “Resilient Leadership in Unprecedented Times,” and “Building Resiliency and Leading Through Adversity.”
“The conference was a unique and valuable opportunity for our staff to build relationships and learn from the experiences of our colleagues across the country,” the Fremont Police Department said.
