Fremont Street Eats Food Truck Line Up: Sept. 21

A list of food trucks that will be at Fremont High Street Eats.

Fremont Street Eats returns today in the Mission Valley ROP parking lot with 10 trucks to serve up tasty treats.

Hosted by the Food Truck Mafia, the event runs from 4:30 to 9 p.m. (The Food Truck Mafia also hosts Washington High Street Eats on the Washington High School campus in Fremont every Thursday.)

My Shrimp Shack

  • This truck is all about shrimp cooked in an Asian Fusion-Hawaiian style .

Munch India

  • Feed your Indian cravings by munching down on everything from Aloo Chop Chole (mashed potatoes served with veggies over garbanzo bean curry) to Kashmiri Lamb Rogan Josh (slow-cooked lamb stew).

Pizza Pimps

  • Pizza Pimps specializes in delicious cheesy pies from pizza slices decked in Polynesian sauces topped with Canadian bacon, macadamia nuts and shredded coconut to pizzas like "PIMP A RONI" that are topped with double pepporoni, cheese, garlic, basil, feta cheese and more. Also, word on Twitter is if you show them that you follow them on Twitter tonight, you might get a free slice.

Rice Rockit

  • From the Hawaiian-inspired Teri-Beef Meatball Loco Moco and the Filipino-like beer boiled Longanisa (sausage) sliders to Lynchee-Walnut Shrimp skewers and various types of fries, this truck is sure to satisfy your tastebuds.

Speedy Panini

  • Get your fix for Italian ciabatta paninis from this Italian food truck. From meatballs to capreses this truck serves up various types of paninis. You can also get lasagna if you want more than just a sandwich and get a cannoli for dessert.

Street Dogs

  • Have a hankering for a Chi-Town style hot dog? Look no further, as Street Dogs specializes in Vienna beef Chicago dogs which include onions, neon-green relish, tomatoes, a pickle spear and spicy sport peppers, all held together in a steamed poppy seed bun. Also served on the truck are soups and the Wunderbar — a thick slice of cheesecake, covered in rich chocolate and served on a stick

Tacos De Los Altos

  • Tacos de los Altos offers traditional Mexican taco truck items including tacos and burritos.

That’s Sweet! Dessert Truck

  • Cupcakes — yummy, specialty cupcakes — are the stars of this gourmet truck. Flavors range from Salted Caramel to Red Velvet. They also bake up whoopie pies.

Truckin' Sweet

  • This gourmet ice cream and dessert serves up homemade, all natural "sinfully sweet concoctions." Try their Voodoo Crunch (Oreo cookies with malt balls and espresso chips) or the Top Secret, which is, well, top secret. They also offer mochas, lattes, shakes and floats.

Yumsilog

  • Yumsilog makes its return to Union City. The truck specializes in silogs, a traditional Filipino breakfast. “Silog” is an abbreviated suffix for dishes traditionally served with garlic rice ("sinangag") and fried egg ("itlog"), with a tomato wedge on the side. The menu inclues including tapsilog (tapa), tosilog (tocino), longsilog (longanisa), Spamsilog and bangsilog, which features bangus, the Filipino milkfish.
