PLEASANTON, CA — Fremont residents are invited to a 9/11 memorial event at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.

The event is hosted by Alameda County District 1 Supervisor David Haubert and will be held from 10 to 11 a.m. on the attack's 20th anniversary. Guests will park in the Altamont Corridor Express parking lot and gather in the fairgrounds amphitheater at 4501 Pleasanton Ave.

"We lost family members, loved ones, and first responders. We are asking you to join us to take a pause and remember all those who lost their lives on that tragic day."
