Increased Meeting Room Fees To Be Considered By Fremont City Council
If approved, this will be the first increase since 2012 and follows television and video conference equipment upgrades.
FREMONT, CA — The Fremont City Council will consider increasing the fees that it charges for renting meeting rooms at some City owned facilities. This would be the first increase since 2012 and brings rental fees into line with those charged elsewhere in Fremont.
The conference rooms and meeting spaces were upgraded during the pandemic to include new televisions and video conference equipment. These upgrades allow renters to fully utilize video conference software, such as Zoom and Teams, that have become essential productivity tools for many agencies.
The City charges a sliding scale depending on whether the space will be used by a government agency, nonprofit organization or business. Here is the proposed fee schedule.
