Man Robbed at Bank ATM

The suspects, a female and a male, claimed to be armed with a gun.

 

A pair claiming to be armed with a gun robbed a man outside of a Wells Fargo ATM Monday night.

According to the Fremont Police Department, the incident occurred at around 8:45 p.m. when the victim was withdrawing cash outside of the bank, located at 39265 Paseo Padre Pkwy.

A woman approached the victim and demanded he hand over his cash. The suspect told him that she had a gun and made a motion with her right hand in her sweater pocket.

“The victim was stalling a little bit, probably in disbelief,” said Fremont police spokeswoman Geneva Bosques.

That’s when a male suspect appeared and started shouting at the victim, distracting him. The female suspect grabbed the money out of the victim’s hands and both suspects fled south along Paseo Padre Parkway.

According to police, the female suspect was described as an Indian female adult about 5-foot-7 and 135 pounds. She was wearing a black sweater with a white image on the lower right side, a white shirt, dark pants and a dark shoulder bag.

The male suspect was described as a light-skinned male in his 20s, possibly Indian or black, about 5-foot-10, weighing about 165 pounds with a thin build. He was wearing a snapback baseball cap with a grey front and black rear, a white t-shirt, dark jeans and sneakers. He was carrying a black messenger bag and was riding a tall sliver metallic messenger bike.
