Man Sought After Approaching High School Student
Police are investigating why a man approached a high school student near a junior high school Monday afternoon.

Police are looking for a man who approached a high school student while she was walking near a school Monday afternoon, officials said.
According to Fremont Police Spokeswoman Geneva Bosques, police were called to the area after it was reported that a man approached the high school female student before 3:30 p.m. near Walters Junior High School. She fled the area on foot, and it is believed she was not injured, Bosques said.
Police are not sure what the man's intentions were but that officers were searching the area as late as 4:25 p.m., Bosques said.

"We have nothing further and are unsure if a crime has occured," Bosques said.
Bosqus added that police are continuing to investigate the situation.
