Man Stabbed in Head, Robbed in Hotel Parking Lot

The injuries were not life-threatening, police said.

A man was stabbed in the head and arm Friday night during a robbery at a Fremont hotel, police said.

The injuries were not life-threatening, according to Fremont police spokeswoman Geneva Bosques.

Officers were dispatched at 7:50 p.m. to Washington Hospital where they found the victim suffering from multiple stab wounds.

According to Bosques, the victim stated that he was attacked by two suspects in the parking lot of Good Nite Inn, located at 4135 Cushing Parkway, as he was walking to the nearby McDonald’s. 

A man and woman approached the victim and demanded money. The female suspect then sprayed the victim with an unknown substance, likely pepper spray, Bosques said. That’s when the male suspect stabbed the victim in the left arm.

The male suspect then grabbed the victim by the throat and stabbed him in the temple.

According to police, the victim’s lacerations ranged from one to five centimeters deep. The weapon was described as a black folding knife with a five-inch blade.

When the victim fell to the ground, the female suspect reached into the victim’s pockets and took his cell phone. They then fled on foot.

The male suspect was described as a Hispanic man in his 20s, about 6-feet tall and 180 pounds. He was wearing a grey beanie, a light grey t-shirt and blue jeans.

The female suspects was described as a white woman in her 20s, about 5-foot-5 and 125 pounds wearing a white top and blue jeans.
