New Affordable Housing Project Eyed Near Fremont BART Station
The proposal would construct a six-story residential building on an empty lot near the Warm Springs BART station.
FREMONT, CA — A new development under consideration near the Warm Springs BART station could add 240 units of affordable housing in Fremont.
According to the East Bay Times, the proposal outlines a "100% affordable multifamily building" to be built on an empty 2.9-acre lot on Warm Springs Boulevard. The building would stand six stories tall, featuring a parking garage and three courtyards.
As the East Bay Times reports, San Francisco-based Maracor Development would helm the project if it moves forward, adding to several other apartment complexes the firm has recently developed across the Bay Area.
