Non-Fatal Fremont Shooting Probed
Shooting victim drove himself to the hospital, police said.
FREMONT, CA — Police are investigating a shooting Saturday that left a man in critical but stable condition, officers said late Saturday afternoon.
Officers got a call at 12:20 p.m. Saturday from Washington Hospital Healthcare System saying a man had just arrived there with a gunshot wound. The victim, police said, drove himself to the hospital on a motorcycle.
The victim, contacted by police in Washington's emergency room, was later transferred to a trauma center for treatment.

No other details were released late Saturday afternoon, and police said they are investigating.
