Update: I-880 Crash Causes Minor Injuries

A car overturned on southbound Interstate Highway 880 in Milpitas this morning, slowing traffic for more than an hour, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The crash, which involved a Ford Ranger that overturned just north of Dixon Landing Road, was reported at 10:30 a.m., CHP Officer James Evans said.

The accident prompted a Sig-alert, and the two left lanes of southbound I-880 were blocked until the alert was canceled at 11:37 a.m.

Only minor injuries were reported, Evans said.
