• Authorities ID Cyclist Killed In Fremont Crash (patch.com) — Fremont residents are being asked for help after a 69-year-old local cyclist, Danny Chiu, was killed in a collision with a semi-truck on Osgood Road Friday afternoon. Police say impairment is not suspected, and the truck driver stayed and cooperated, but investigators still want witnesses to contact the Fremont Police Department Traffic Unit with any information. 
• Lawrence Livermore National Security Announces Recipients of the 2025 Community Gift Program (newswise.com) — Several Fremont organizations, including AAUW Fremont, Averroes High School, and Local Ecology and Agriculture Fremont (LEAF), have won 2025 community grants from Lawrence Livermore National Security to expand hands-on STEM and STEAM programs.
