Police Release Photos of Woman Suspected of Robbing Fremont Bank

FREMONT, CA — Police released surveillance photos Thursday of a woman who robbed a bank inside a Fremont Safeway store in July, police said. A robbery alarm was triggered at the US Bank branch in the Safeway store at 46848 Mission Blvd. in the city's Warm Springs area just after 4 p.m. on July 18, according to police.
The woman handed a bag to a bank teller, demanded cash and threatened the teller, police said. She took the cash and left the store, walking west through the parking lot.
Police described her as a white woman between 30 and 35 years old standing about 5 feet 8 inches tall. The day of the robbery she was wearing a gray sweater over a white shirt and striped leggings. She has blond hair that was partially died red or pink during the robbery.
