Police Searching for Missing Girl with Special Needs

Kristina Krage walked away from her home in the Glenmoor neighborhood early Friday morning, according to police.

Police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing girl with special needs who walked away from her home early Friday morning.

According to a Fremont Police Department media alert, 15-year-old Kristina Krage was last seen at her home in the Glenmoor neighborhood around 2 a.m.

She is described as a white female standing at 5 feet and 4 inches tall, about 170 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white t-shirt and black tennis shoes.

Authorities believe she may be headed to Modesto or Richmond via BART.

Though Fremont police weren’t immediately available to comment, authorities released a similar alert in September for a girl with the same features and residence who they identified as “Kristina Krag.”

In that report, the missing girl was said to be at-risk because she has the mental capacity of a 7- or 8-year-old. She was found safe the next day in Modesto, where her mother was said to last reside.
