Police Shut Down Underground Rave

An underground rave Saturday night was crashed by uninvited guests — the Fremont Police Department.

Authorities had come across advertisements for the event, scheduled for 11 p.m. at an auto shop on Albrae Street.

Officers responded to the business, which was emptied out to accommodate partygoers, police said. About 30 to 40 people were already in attendance at the time officers arrived.

The party was immediately shut down and code enforcement was notified of the incident.
