Prowler Assaults Three Police Officers
The suspect was unconscious when he suddenly woke up and began assaulting the officers, police said.

A prowler was arrested after he assaulted three police officers in Fremont on Friday evening, police said.

At about 7:30 p.m., police received a report of a prowler in the 39200 block of Sutter Drive.
Officers arrived to find the suspect, a 38-year-old man, unconscious on the side of the house, police said.

While they were waiting for medical crews to get there, the suspect regained consciousness and began battering the officers, according to police.
Officers used a taser to stop the suspect, then took him into custody. The three officers suffered scrapes and bruises, according to police.
Medical crews transported the suspect to a hospital where he was medically cleared before being booked into the Santa Rita Jail, police said.
