Restaurant Week Kicks Off Friday In Fremont

FREMONT, CA — Fremont Restaurant Week starts Friday and runs through the end of the month — Sunday, March 31. Some 45 local restaurants are offering limited-time specials to help you discover new eateries or rekindle a passion for an old favorite. There is also a raffle for participants.

There are restaurants to please all palates and budgets. You can start with morning pastries, move on to burgers at lunch and finish your day with fine dining.

Freebies abound — get a free milkshake at YSG Halaal Yeeshaans Grubb; a complimentary fruit tea at Milk & Honey Chinese; a free churro dessert at The Clubhouse Bistro and Bar, Golf Club, and Event Center; a free drink or 2 free desserts, depending on your order and 2 free tickets to DJ night at Smoking Pig BBQ; free firni dessert at Fremont Afghan Kabob Restaurant; one free food item at R&B Tea; free fries and drink at iniBurger; a free scoop of ube corn keso at Nature's Organic Ice Cream; and more.

There are 3 or 4 Course Prix Fixe Menus, special dishes created for restaurant week — take a look at Instagram-ready MARE IN TAVOLA at Taverna Vesuvio Pizzería Ristorante — flights of beer and tantalizing desserts.

To enter the raffle, grab a passport from an participating restaurant or the Chamber of Commerce, then collect stickers from each eatery you visit during Restaurant Week. Details about the prizes are still under wraps but the total value is $3,000.
