This Week: Fremont Chamber Holiday Mixer; Art and Music at Bay Street Coffee
Find out events going on in and around Fremont this week.

Heads up! Here are five things going on this week that you should know about:
- The League of Volunteers and Viola Blythe Community Services Center are collecting donations for their annual toy drives. Find out where you can drop off items in the Fremont here.
- Meditate at the the Wat Buddhanusorn Thai TempleTuesday at 7 p.m. with American Buddhist monk Ajahn Guna. Guests will be able to relax during the meditation and also ask questions to learn more about Buddhism. The temple is located at 36054 Niles Blvd. in Fremont.
- Join the Fremont Chamber this Wednesday for their annual Holiday Mixer. Local business leaders will get together from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Chamber office. Guests are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy for the Annual Toys for Tots drive.
- Magnussen's Lexus of Fremont is inviting the public to their 2013 Lexus Showcase & Customer Appreciation Event this Thursdayfrom 6 to 8 p.m. The dealership will have four new models on display, as well as music, raffles, hors d'oeuvres, refreshments and more. RSVP to rsvp@magnussenlexus.com.
- Support local artists this Sunday at Bay Street Coffee's Five Corner Fiasco. From 6 to 11 p.m., catch three local artists Bryant Sina, Nikita Gurnani and Mikala Hughes paint live while listening to the sounds of local bands Monbon and Third Eye Coalition. The event is also a food drive benefiting the Tri-City League of Volunteers' food bank.
